Early Life

Avril Ramona Lavigne was born in Belleville, Ontario, the daughter of Judith-Rosanne "Judy" (née Loshaw) and Jean-Claude Lavigne. Her father, who is of French Canadian descent, named her Avril after the French word for the month of April. She has an older brother, Matthew, and a younger sister, Michelle. A daughter of a working-class family, Lavigne, at the age of two, began singing church songs along with her mother. When Lavigne was five years old, the family moved to Napanee, Ontario, a town with an approximate population of 5,000. Although she struggled with paying attention in school, sometimes kicked out of class for misbehaving, her parents were supportive of her singing. Her father bought her a microphone, a drum kit, a keyboard, several guitars, and converted their basement into a studio. When Lavigne was 14, her parents would take her to karaoke sessions. Lavigne also performed at country fairs, singing songs by Garth Brooks, The Dixie Chicks, and Shania Twain. She also began writing her own songs. Her first song was called "Can't Stop Thinking About You", about a teenage crush, which she described as "cheesy cute"

In the year 1944, Captain Norval Marley married a young Jamaican girl named Cedalla Booker. On February 6, 1945 at two thirty in the morning their son, Robert Nesta Marley was born in his grandfather's house. Soon after Bob was born his father left his mother. He did however give financial support and occasionally returned to see his son.

Arus mudik di kuasai sepeda motor

Keadaan di jalur pantura, Sabtu (27/8/2011), ini terpantau sangat ramai dengan didominasi  kendaraan sepeda motor ke arah Cirebon. Keramaian mulai meningkat sejak lepas waktu subuh sampai siang tadi.Kepadatan kendaraan terpantau sekitar 30-50 kendaraan per menit dengan kecepatan  60-70 kmper jam. Perbandingan antara kendaraan sepeda motor dengan kendaraan roda empat cukup kontras dengan perkiraan  satu kendaraan roda empat berbanding dua puluh sepeda motor.Di sepanjang pantura, karena ramainya kendaraan bermotor membuat kendaraan-kendaraan besar seperti bus yang biasanya menguasai jalanan, saat ini harus mengalah pada sepeda motor. Di antara kendaraan pemudik ini, tampak tiga sampai empat kendaraan bajaj melakukan mudik. Tiap bajaj membawa  dua hingga tiga penumpang dengan barang bawaan seadanya.

Arus mudik memuncak. Arus mudik menggunakan kapal feri di Pelabuhan Merak sejak Jumat pukul 20.00 hingga Sabtu (27/8/2011) pukul 08.00 tercatat 62.546 penumpang. Sementara itu, total kendaraan 14.804 unit.Jumlah ini lebih banyak daripada yang tercatat pada Jumat (pukul 08.00-22.00), yakni 46.675 orang. Sejak tadi malam, ruas jalan menuju pelabuhan dipadati antrean kendaraan sehingga macet sejauh sekitar 4 kilometer.
Perwakilan dari Humas PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry di Pelabuhan Merak Mario S mengatakan, pihaknya memperkirakan puncak arus mudik berlangsung sampai hari ini.
